Lecture at the International Winter School Global Scapes
15 December 2021: Disability, Labour and Accessibility: International and African Perspectives
Global Scapes is an interdisciplinary and intersectoral initiative whose aim is to reflect each year on a different commodity chain, easing the dialogue among the Academy, the International Agencies and the Private Sector. It’s an opportunity to discuss social, power, labour, geopolitical, business and cooperation relations that the supply chain creates.
In the context of the 2021 WS edition, dedicated to the topic of “Labour in Africa: Historical and Social Dynamics“, the RISID team organises a lecture on “Disability, Labour and Accessibility: International and African Perspectives“:
Paolo Addis – Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies: Vita Activa. Labour and Disability
Beatrice Rabai – University of Pavia: Digital revolution and new opportunities: how smart working could benefit employees with disabilities in public and private sectors
Cristian Bernareggi – Sustain for Life Foundation: Assistive technologies for visually impaired students in African countries: achievements and new challenges
Chair: Silvia Favalli – University of Pavia
